What Athletic Programs are Saying About Us...

"My son is a student athlete at Fowlerville High School, where our athletic trainer is Martha.  Martha has helped my son many times during games and practices throughout his high school sports career.  My son experienced a knee injury during a soccer game and with Martha's help was able to get the best care and get into the right doctors to get the recovery period started.   It was a great feeling as a parent to have someone on the sidelines that was there for the safety of the kids."    -Parent, Fowlerville HS

“After severely spraining my ankle during an away Friday evening basketball game, Eric willingly came in on his day off to evaluate my injury. During the evaluation he began by testing my range of motion, stability, and other tests to figure out how bad it was. He then wrapped me tightly to help control my swelling, and instructed me on what I need to do to in order to get it strong again. After my evaluation he contacted my family and even helped direct me to a great orthopedic physician, which was able to get an appointment the very next day. Before I was able to start physical therapy, Eric gave me exercises and stretches to keep my range of motion and limit my swelling, which really put me ahead of the game. He really knows what he is talking about and it’s awesome to get clear answers to all of my questions.”  -Hailey, basketball & soccer, Hartland HS

“During my basketball game Jan 21st, I went down with a knee injury while jump stopping in front of the basket. I felt a pop and immediate pain as my knee gave out when I landed. Eric rushed to my side while I was on the court, and began asking me questions about the injury. Once off the court he began doing multiple tests to see what was damaged. After the game he re-assessed my knee, and thought I had torn my ACL. He wrapped my knee and instructed me on how to use crutches to get around, so I didn’t have to put any weight on my leg. The next day he took time out of his day to check on how my knee was doing. With a lot of swelling, and instability he thought it best that I see an orthopedic surgeon immediately. After my MRI confirmed his assessment, I began working with Eric and the physical therapists at Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists in Hartland.   They helped with my pain, swelling, range of motion, and gave me strengthening exercises to help get my leg strong for the surgery. Even with going to physical therapy three times a week it makes a big difference going down to see him after school as well. I’m glad Eric and the therapists are here to help me get through this injury.” -Briana, basketball, Hartland HS
